Interactive Product Presentation: Our New Digital Presentation Table

How can complex machines and systems be presented in a clear, intuitive, and modern way? At Erste Maschinenfabrik GmbH, we have given this question a great deal of thought. The result is a new interactive presentation table that combines digital displays of our products and systems with RFID technology.

The presentation table features a large-format touchscreen integrated into its surface. This allows for the digital presentation of various machines, systems, and solutions, and enables content to be viewed directly at the table together with customers, partners, and prospective clients.

One unique feature is RFID-based interaction: Physical product and theme modules can be placed on the table or scanned. Using RFID technology, the system recognizes the respective module and can access the corresponding digital content. This creates a connection between a tangible exhibit and the digital product world.

The table allows us to present extensive product information in a compact format at a central display point. This makes it easier to explain complex systems and technical concepts without having to physically bring the machines themselves to the site.

Use during client meetings and at trade shows

The interactive presentation table is designed for meetings with customers and business partners as well as for use at trade shows and events. Initial real-world applications are already demonstrating how the table can serve as a central hub for consultations and product presentations.

In addition to its technical functionality, design also played an important role in the development process. The touchscreen, RFID reader, and necessary technical components were integrated into a sturdy, freestanding piece of furniture. This allows the system to be used flexibly in a variety of display settings.

Through this project, we are expanding our ability to bring mechanical engineering to life digitally and to present our solutions in a contemporary way.

Funded as part of our digitization project

The development and implementation of the interactive presentation table is being supported as part of a funded project. The project will run from December 9, 2025, to December 8, 2026.

We would like to thank you for your support in carrying out this project.
